Ten years later it came under Venetian reign and administration.

The Coric Tower and the defensive walls can still be admired as remains of those times. Worth seeing in the historic old town is also the parish church which was built in 1764. Before Vodice became a popular holiday resort it had been a small fishing village with the typical traditional stone houses which still can be found in the narrow and cobbled alleys. Lots of cafes, kanobas and souvenir shops invite the numerous visitors strolling through the busy lanes.

Especially for scuba divers it is the perfect underwater world with small sharks, octopuses and corals in crystal-clear water.
